Heaven's Rage is based on the novel of the same name by author Leslie Tate. Leslie Tate's memoir is by turns an elegy for a lost childhood, a tribute to the power of literature and a demand for the right to identity in world that turns too easily on those who differ from the conventional.

Synopsis:

Joëlle is not your average father. When her son suddenly turns up in NY just when her life is in full reconstruction after a sex reassignment, she's not ready to play the doting father. She can tell her son the contrary, he can see that she's gone down a notch. Crap job, tiny flat. and there's a transgender that support group meets there. She can't take being constantly scrutinized, questioned and judged by every Tom, Dick and Harry. Her son's arrival might just be the last straw. It's emotional swings and roundabouts which won't leave you the same person.

IRIDESCENCE

Synopsis:

"Iridescence" is an experimental visual short film, which exposes how society needs to label a person by their sexuality. In this story, dance and interpretive movement replaces the dialogue, allowing us to use the body to communicate the relationship between the characters and they’re true human emotions. Through stylize lighting and abstract visual, Iridescence tells the story of an emotionally repressed abusive father and his son who struggles to accept himself and his sexuality.

The first biological kid from two men finds a pair of dragonfly wings growing out from his back. His fathers want to hide the fact, while the kid wants to expose the wings to the public.
