BOTTLED UP

Directed by Kira Pelton & David Lindsay

Runtime - 3:42

Synopsis:

Lilly is a gay high school student who has been a victim of bullying for many years; rather than asking for help with her problems, she metaphorically “bottled up” her emotions and suppressed many of the respective memories. One day, while staring at her “motivational note” on the mirror that says “you are fine”, she finds herself face to face with the very memories and emotions she buried for so long in the form of literal bottles. As more bottles appear and she dives deeper into her past, Lilly realizes that it’s okay to ask for help and open up to others.
