Blackbird 2025 featured 60 films selected from a pool of 454 submissions for an acceptance rate of 13.2%! The 2025 season marked the 10th year for Blackbird in Cortland, NY and the filmmakers did not disappoint with a weekend full of films, fun and friendship!

Schedule

Blackbird 2025 returned to the original three-day festival format and reduced the number of film screenings while bulking up the social events! With the ever-changing festival landscape, Blackbird 2025 served more as a weekend for filmmaker interaction and connection with film screenings sprinkled throughout.
