Sunset Cinema & COVID19

Due to the COVID19 pandemic, the 2020 festival season was forced to reschedule / reinvent itself several times... For safety reasons, the festival was eventually reimagined as a drive-in movie event with a virtual component.

Immediately following the Sunset Cinema Drive-In, Blackbird launched a two week Virtual Festival for filmmakers and attendees to enjoy from the comfort and safety of their own home!
